As Winemakers, Stoneleigh are able to capture the natural early ripening characteristics of the Rapaura sub-region appellation, harvesting the grapes early with a full flavour profile to make a range of wines that are 25% lower in alcohol. Pale straw in colour, this wine shows lifted nashi pear and gala apple characters, with background topical guava and pineapple notes. The palate is lively and crisp with intense nashi pear, apple strudel and spicy flavours, complemented by a well-balanced acid structure.

Naturally 25 per cent lighter in alcohol than Stoneleigh range wines of the same varietal, but still bursting with the vibrant flavours and aromas expected. Refreshingly lighter in alcohol at 9.5%, Wither Hills Early Light Rosé is elegant and vibrant with bright acidity and flavours of summer berries. Fruit for our Early Light range of wines is harvested early to capture optimum flavour ripeness whilst reducing the levels of naturally occurring sugar. This lower level of sugar means less alcohol is converted resulting in a lighter in alcohol style of wine.

Naturally lighter in alcohol at 9.5%, Wither Hills Early Light Sauvignon Blanc shows succulent tropical fruit flavours and a zingy citrus backbone.
