Our Port Charlotte Islay Barley expressions are a direct embodiment of everything an Islay whisky can and should be. Nose of candied citrus and honey, liquorice and butterscotch with the addition of water. The palate is classic Arran. The citrus notes have rounded with age and reveal new depths of character against a background of sweet oak and apple. Sweet spice coats the tongue, with notes of hazelnut and cinnamon. Long lasting, clean and fresh.
